I value..."YOU".

So often in life we go about our day to day not really thinking too much about the things we've made habits.

we eat the same things, get dressed the same way (with the same leg going into our pants first every time- pay attention now you are going to notice), shave the same leg first, brush our teeth (without really contemplating the angle of the brush or how THIS particular night of brushing teeth will effect us 5 years from now.) These are just things we do...chew, swallow. we don't even have to tell our brain.. "swallow it."

Over time life will tell you if your habits are healthy, hurtful, dangerous, or deadly. Our habits will determine whether we gain health, wealth, fame, fortune, joy, peace, love, enrichment, fulfillment, friends, and enemies... Darren Hardy calls this the compound effect. Daily choices made consistently over time equals our life results.

What does OVER TIME get us?? fatter, thinner, more in debt, less friends, more hurt, more money, more referrals, more peace, less fillings (if we're still talking about teeth), more muscle, smarter... it all depends on how you spend your time. your habits.

When we look in the mirror or drive down the road or pull up in our driveway... we see a lot of things. A tricked out roadster, and mansion on a hill, a modest cottage that keeps you from the rain, a set of wheels that give you freedom, a car that gets you to your paycheck so you can support yourself or family. When is comes down to it we all want freedom and that is what Yoli is all about. An opportunity to give you freedom. Freedom from an unhealthy body that holds you back, for a couple friends I know its freedom from diabetes which will slowly drain your years and energy. Freedom to buy what you need verses what you WANT. Freedom from a job you hate, retirement that's behind, taxes your over paying. There is freedom to be had and it can be ours if we master our habits. And redirect our TIME.

Time Freedom is a phrase I'm am used to hearing. The concept was foreign to me a few short years ago. Free time, to do as a family what we want to do, and when we want to do it. Time Freedom is a luxury, a dream that so many have given up on. All they know is I HAVE to go to this job and I HAVE to do what my boss says, I HAVE to miss that recital for work, I HAVE to be late to her softball game cause I can't get off work. I CAN'T take vacation, I CAN'T drive a better car, I CAN'T pay my bills.

Sometimes it's the easy things that are hard to do. Because no one dies. If I don't floss, NO ONE DIES. my teeth won't fall out today. If I eat that pie I don't gain and instant 25 pounds, it doesn't affect me TODAY.

I guess in all of my randomness there are several major points.
1. be aware of you daily habits. you are what you do daily. lie daily? You're a liar. you are generous? you are a giver. you miss the first smile, first word, first food, step, game, his first basket, her first home run? you are absent. consistently stay up late? you are exhausted. ;) spend time? you are caring. consider others? you are thoughtful.

2. Decide where you place value! family, home, health, education, church, friends, work, yard, politics, hobbies, or ______________... spend your time investing in what you really value.

3. Lastly: The whole story is supposed to be about getting back to valuing your health. you will get out what you put in. Don't floss/brush now? cavities later. Don't get that cavity filled? Root canal later? Don't get the root canal? you get the extraction or crown.. do you see where this is headed? it goes back to the easy things sometimes being the hardest to do. Flossing. Is it easy or hard? IT'S EASY!! so why don't we do it? because it won't kill us today.

If you invest in high quality food, learn how to eat correctly for you and your family, you save your self THOUSANDS and THOUSAND later in Dr. visits, medication, quality of life. Eat junk, get junk.

Occasionally I hear, "that's expensive", and what I've learned and truly believe is BEING SICK IS EXPENSIVE!!! not brushing is expensive... remember that analogy? apply it to your diet. You INVEST a little extra toward your health NOW and save yourself the root canal LATER.. for me it's that simple. And hears the last sentence of the post.

"I can't afford to invest in my health..." MY ANSWER? "If you broke your leg, would you stay home from the ER because it's TOO EXPENSIVE?? No!! You'd go get it fixed, you'd make it work to get the care you need." "If you are sick, or overweight, or malnourished, consider yourself broken... go get fixed and make it work. It's that serious."

You are worth investing in. You deserve to be as healthy as you can be NOW. If you are ready to find help to make those changes, I can help!

I value YOU!!!

Thanks for reading the WHOLE long THING!! I love your comments.
